Effective October 15, 2008, Wyndham raised their guest certificate fees from $25 to $129. We have decided to split the cost of this fee with our clients, charging $60 per unit rented. We are very unhappy with this fee increase and apologize for any inconvenience, but appreciate your understanding.

Indoor pool is shallow format (3-4 feet) and shared with Hilton Hotel guests; pool hours are 6-10 a.m. and 4-10 p.m.
The resort is conveniently located adjacent to the Metro rail and Amtrak rail, so close you can hear the trains!
Parking limited to one vehicle per unit; spaces can be a bit tight if you drive an SUV, truck or van.
As of February 1, 2008, this resort has adopted a mandatory non-smoking policy throughout the property.

This resort is located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria and is just a short walk away from the Washington D.C. transit system. You can visit the White House, the Smithsonian, the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, along with the other D.C. sites. Or, for a fun excursion, drive 21 miles north east to Six Flags America in Baltimore.

Wyndham Old Town Alexandria has indoor pool and exercise room, and a guest dining area on-site. All rooms are tastefully decorated and have many amenities.

Each unit is furnished in the style of the period and features many amenities including a fully equipped kitchen. Approximately 8 1/2 miles from Busch Gardens and about 8 miles from Water Country USA.

Williamsburg is one of the foremost historic districts in the United States. You can tour the many famous homes and buildings, or shop and dine in the stores and restaurants offering traditional fare. Other area attractions include Jamestown, Yorktown, College of William and Mary, and Busch Gardens.

When not sight-seeing, enjoy the recreation complex and the indoor and outdoor pools including an adults-only pool, hot tub, children's play area, tanning bed, miniature golf, and on-site masseuse. Nearby scenic river charters are available on the James and York Rivers.

Williamsburg, located 45 miles from Norfolk, is home to the foremost historic district in the United States. Scores of famous homes and buildings are available for tours, and stores and restaurants offer traditional fare. Other area attractions include Jamestown, Yorktown, College of William and Mary, Busch Gardens (about 5 miles away), and Water Country USA (about 7 miles away). Back at the resort, enjoy tennis, swimming, outdoor grills, a jogging trail, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball surrounded by tall pines. Wyndham Patriots' Place is it's own little community with beautiful grounds. This is an excellent vacation destination for the history buff, as well as the outdoor enthusiast.

Studio: 315 square feet, queen bed, mini kitchen. Sleeps 2.

One Bedroom Suite: 491 square feet, queen bed in bedroom, queen sofa sleeper in living room, partial kitchen. Sleeps 4.

Unit Requests: Units are assigned the week of check-in, but we're happy to pass along any specific requests to the resort's front desk on your behalf.

Prices/Quotes: Starting rates are for the smallest size unit (and a weeknight) booked for a full week within 60 days during the quietest season. Rates vary depending on season, length of stay (the longer the stay the less the average-per-night rate), unit size, if "upgrades" are available (from a smaller unit to a larger unit), if weekends are rented (which cost a great deal more than weeknights), and time of booking (we get and offer a substantial discount [40-50%] on anything within 60 days).

Availability: We often book dates/units at popular resorts that we think will rent. However, we have access to a LOT more inventory and may have the dates you need! Please submit a rental request to see if we have the dates/location/unit size you desire. We typically do not list units for rent outside of 60 days, because our discount is not effective until 60 days prior, and we would have to charge our clients too much to make it worth our time.

Limited Availability: Presidential units are rarely available. Limited availability at WorldMark resorts.

Minimum: All of our resorts have at least a two-night minimum, and a few are only rented weekly.

Unit information: We continually verify the amenity/unit information with the resorts, but cannot guarantee its accuracy if this information has changed since last contact with the resort.

Fees: Some resorts have parking or energy surcharges (Hawaii). If such fees apply, these will be listed on the resort page in our website. You will also be notified at the time of booking and the fees will be listed on the rental agreement. Guest Certificate Fee: Wyndham charges us $99-$129 every time we add a guest to a reservation. We have decided to SPLIT the cost of this fee with our clients, charging $60 PER UNIT/week [not per person] rented. A guest certificate is required for any unit that we [the owners] are not occupying.)

Average hotel cost: taken from the top 25 "pick" hotels from hotels.com for the selected dates and city (for 4 adults only;cost goes up for additional guests). Also does not include tax. Price per square foot is based on an average-sized hotel room of 300 square feet and is figured for the entire stay. Please note that hotels.com prices change frequently and the price shown is from the day our unit was entered onto our website.

Taxes: We do not charge any sales tax. The Hawaiian Islands (and some other areas, such as Mexico) charge a T.A.T. (Transient Accommodations Tax). It is required by the State of Hawaii for all resort and hotel guests. The rates are APPROXIMATELY as follows: $3.30/night for one bedroom suite, $4.00/night for one bedroom deluxe, $5.25/night for two bedroom deluxe, $7.70/night for two bedroom presidential, $9.50/night for three bedroom presidential, $11.25/night for four bedroom presidential.

Check-in and check-out: Check-in is 4pm at all resorts, and check-out is 10am. Late check-outs are not permitted, as the resort needs plenty of time between guests to clean and prepare the units.
